EYC is a community in which youth in grades 7 - 12 come together
to deepen their relationship with Christ, learn about the
Episcopal Church, serve others, share meals, and have fun!
The youth program is a vital part of the parish: youth
participate in many programs and ministries, serving as lectors
and acolytes and sitting on the vestry.
Youth Formation Highlights:
Youth Council: This is an advisory board for the Youth
Minister. This group meets once a month to discuss programming
for Jr. and Sr. High Episcopal Young Churchperson (EYC).

Diocesan Events:
The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama sponsors many events for youth
throughout the year. Mission trips, retreats, work projects,
convention, just to name a few.

Episcopal Young Churchperson:
EYC is for students in Grade 6 through Grade 12, and is split
into two groups:
Junior High EYC Grades
6 - Grade 8
Senior High EYC Grades 9 - Grade 12
Activities include rafting trips, mission trips to New York
City, volunteering at the Sapp Shelter for Women and Children,
Bible studies, and just having fun together as a community.

Sunday School Classes 10:00 a.m.
Students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 meet 2nd floor in Ridley Hall
Confirmation for students in Grade meet on 3rd floor of Joffrion
in the EYC room
Students in Grades 10 - 12 will 2nd floor Joffrion

Jr. High EYC 5:00
p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Sr. High EYC 6:30 p.m.- 7:45 p.m.
Both groups will eat dinner
together on Sundays
at 6:00 pm. - 6:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAYS
Jr. and Sr. High Bible Study: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
