Your group should plan to feed about 100 people. All paper products are provided, you do not need to provide juice or coffee however it is always welcomed.
Most groups do breakfast casseroles or biscuit sandwiches. Some groups such as youth and children have a cereal and milk supply drive. Other options are things like pre cooked pancakes or overnight oats.

Who We Are
The Greene Street Market is downtown Huntsville’s producer-only, open-air market for fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, meat, and flowers. It’s where you go to meet farmers with gorgeous local produce, grass fed and pasture raised beef and pork, free range chickens and eggs.
Pick up freshly-prepared meals, gourmet popsicles, traditionally-made relishes, cheeses, preserves and breads. And, it’s where local artisans offer their works. It’s a great place to meet your friends, or make new friends, enjoy your family, hear wonderful music, do some shopping, and eat dinner – all in downtown Huntsville.
The Greene Street Market has given over $100,000 to community organizations through the Outreach Committee at the Church of the Nativity.

Making a Difference
The recipient of the 2022 Greene Street Market Grant for $20,000 is The Boys & Girls Clubs Doors to the Future Capital Campaign. The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama have a rich tradition of offering hope and opportunity to thousands of children and families in the communities we serve.
Since 1938 our organization has offered programs that nurture and enrich young lives, over time
expanding to serve children in Madison, Limestone, Morgan, and Jackson County with 15
sites strategically located to serve our most underserved youth.
The commercial kitchen at North Huntsville location needs to be renovated in order to
meet health code requirements. Once renovated, it will provide a kitchen to prepare
nutritious meals and snacks every day after school and during the summer. We will feed
the children wh attend this facility, and we will deliver to all of the other children at
facilities across North Alabama. We are currently serving over 1,300 meals and snacks
daily through a USDA food program that are shelf stable foods. This kitchen will provide
for fresher and cooked options for so many children who need good nourishment.
Additionally, this facility would give our teens the opportunity to learn skills in catering,
food preparation, and food service, which would be incorporated through our Workforce
Readiness Program.
Profits from the Greene Street Market at Nativity are put back into community programs by way of the Church of the Nativity Outreach Committee.
